World's most extreme helipads revealed, enjoy a scenic view
The Needles Lighthouse built in 1859 off the Isle of Wight was given an uplift in 1987 with the addition of a rooftop helipad, allowing maintenance workers and keepers to hop to it in a jiffy. Careful manoeuvering required.
