Breast cancer
20 minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activity at least five times a week is just about right for women to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Some findings suggest that starting an exercise program during adolescence may delay the onset of breast cancer for women.
Colorectal cancer
According to British Medical Journal, people who follow a healthy lifestyle and exercise for more than 30 minutes daily is more immune towards colorectal cancer.
Endometrial cancer
According to a report by Yale School of Public Health, women who exercised for 150 minutes a week or more has a 34 percent lower risk of endometrial cancer compared to the rest. Also women with a body mass index (BMI) below 25 has 73 percent reduced risk compared with inactive women whose BMI is above 25.
