Women experience anxiety, become irritable, and have increased insulin responsiveness and increased craving for food etc which is quite normal. It may be unpleasant to exercise during this time still you can workout unless the doctor asks you to refrain from doing so. If you feel heavy flow and severe cramps then take it easy.
