Fruit Kesari Halwa:-
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups rava/ sooji, 1 and
1/2 cups finely chopped fruits(pineapple, banana, apple), 3 tbsp ghee, 3 and
1/2 cups water, 3/4 cup sugar (add more if needed), handful of cashew nuts and
raisins, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder / elaichi, pinch of saffron
How to make
Take a pan and roast rava in a pan
till it smells good. Set this sooji aside. Fry the nuts and cashews in ghee and
put them aside. Now fry fresh fruits in the ghee for 3 minutes. Now add sugar,
water and saffron. Boil this mixture. Now add cardamom powder, pour the rawa
slowly to the water. Keep stirring water with spatula to prevent lumps. Cover
the lid and cook until the water is absorbed. Add ghee and fried nuts. Keep it covered
for a while. Serve it hot.
