One of the United Kingdom's biggest exponent of virtual slot games recently announced the arrival the launch of their latest release, a cross-platform adventure combining the height of modern technology with the the dangerous underworld of the 1920s.

On July 27th, William Hill Games, a well-established bookmakers turned online casino promoter based in Wood Green, London, issued a statement unveiling their latest product, Lucky's Empire, in which players can win vast jackpots and take advantage of several bonus features to increase their winnings.

Back to the roaring 20s
Set in the United States during the country's ill-fated experiment with Prohibition from 1920-1933, the game follows the adventures of the eponymous Lucky as he strikes out across the darkened underworld in search of an opportunistic thief who stole his booze.

Bringing that period of history to life in a visually compelling style akin to the film noir characteristics of genre classics such as The Lady from Shanghai, Double Indemnity and The Big Sleep, the new Lucky's Empire game depicts a glamorous portrayal of a Prohibition era which was often anything but.

Nor was it much of a success.
