Why Shahid Kapoor had to take shower for two hours before returning home
In the film, while one portion of the film will see Shahid Kapoor as a college student, for which the actor shed 40 kgs, the other portion of the film will see him as a surgeon who is on the path to self destruction after his girlfriend, played by Kiara Advani, marries someone else. In the teaser, there is a scene wherein Shahid hurls abuses over when phone when he comes to know that some touched his girlfriend so we can only imagine what's in store for us in the film. Kabir Singh is a remake of the 2017 film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga's hit Telugu film- Arjun Reddy and in the original film, the lead role was played by Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. Kabir Singh will hit the screens on June 21, 2019.
