The Brahmin totally amazed observed the sankalpa of sixteen
Mondays in every detail. Following this vow, he was freed from his disease and
sorrow. He gradually went on to become a well known, wealthy man and loved and
respected by all of the people of the kingdom. He taught them to worship Lord
Shiva continued to inspire the people of his community to serve the Lord with
truth and joy.
