WhatsApp soon allow users to join missed call and get biometric lock
So if your Android device does not have a fingerprint sensor but a Face unlocking system, WhatsApp will support the feature only if the device has a proper face recognition system. The Facebook-owned messaging app is also implementing new identifiers if the face and fingerprint unlock fails.
Users can choose when they want WhatsApp to automatically lock the app. Both the features are currently under development and they were spotted in the latest Android beta update.
