WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that would allow users to join the calls they have missed. Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on a feature that would protect the chats with a fingerprint. As per Wabetainfo, WhatsApp will make it easier for you to join a call if you have missed it and if the call is still on. "WhatsApp is working for a few months on a new feature that allows us to quickly join calls in a certain situation. In particular, if someone between your contacts invites you to join a group call, and you aren't able to join in that moment, you will be able to join the next time you open WhatsApp if the call hasn't been closed," the report by Wabetainfo read.
Another feature that WhatsApp is reportedly working on is a Biometric lock. The feature as the name suggests protects that chats with a fingerprint. "WhatsApp is working on new improvements for Fingerprint Lock, the feature that allows protecting WhatsApp with the fingerprint. If your Android device hasn't a fingerprint sensor but it has a Face recognition system, you cannot use Fingerprint Lock obviously, but WhatsApp is finally working to improve it with new features, the report read.
