Heart It
Today is the chance for people to have a look at the last 'supermoon' of the year. A supermoon occurs when the moon's orbit is closest to Earth, and makes it appear up to 14 percent bigger than average in the sky and and 30% times brighter. We've already had these in July, August, September and November this year, with the event last month seeing the moon come closer to Earth than any time since 1948. The sad part is, it might not be visible in various parts of India and other countries as there are chances that the clouds would cover it. If you get to see it then you must be the lucky one to witness the last supermoon of 2016.
The ideal time to check the moon is during the moon rise just after sunset or moon set just before the sunrise. For sure this would be an impressive sight as it will appear enormous compared to the surrounding landscape.
