Vickers is too SEXY for her knickers: Diana`s new FHM shoot

'I've been brought up with FHM so it's a real honour to be asked to be on the cover!

She added: 'I don't see myself as a sex symbol at all, but I know it's part of my job to be kind of sexy. I just don't really think of myself like that.' The singer also recalled her time as a barefoot X Factor contestant in 2008, saying: 'I was 16 -- I didn't know who I was. I wasn't an artist, I didn't write my own music, I didn't know what I wanted to be.

'Now I'm 22 and I know the sort of artist I want to be. And when I perform, I wear shoes!'

She added: 'I think maybe (the show) should go away for a few years and come back again fresh. When you see something too much it's good to step away from it and then come back to it. It makes you appreciate it a bit more.'
