How to make:-
Grind whole cloves, fennel seeds, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, dry red chilies, bay leave, cardamom seeds, ground mace, ginger and a pinch of turmeric powder into spice grinder and make fine powder. Keep it aside for later use.
In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Now add boiled and mashed potatoes in to pan. Add dabeli masala powder, salt and sugar. Mix all the ingredients well. Cook this potato mixture and masala for 3-4 minutes. Divide potato mixture into 12 equal portions. Keep it aside.
On medium flame, heat small skillet. Now roast peanuts till it get light brown. Let them cool. Remove the skin of peanuts and break into halves. Now heat oil in pan. When oil is hot, add peanuts with black salt, red chili powder and chaat masala. Mix well. Cook it for a minute. Take out in a pan and keep it aside for later use.
In a blender, take coriander leaves, garlic cloves, ginger, green chilies, dried red chilies and salt. Blend all ingredients by adding little water. Coriander chutney is ready.
Take a saucepan. Boil 3 cups of water in it on medium heat. Add seedless tamarind and dates in saucepan or patila. Let it come to a boil and simmer for 7-8 minutes. Add jaggery. Also add salt, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder and dry ginger powder. Mix all the ingredients. Put it on sim flame for again 7-8 minutes. Let the mixture cool down. Now grind into smooth paste in blender. Strain the chutney using strainer. Tamarind date chutney is ready.
