Directed by Abhishek Varman, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor-starrer 2 States is slated to release on April 18. Though the poster conveys the storyline, it does not tease the viewer's interest. Nor does it evoke any anticipation.
The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's semi-autobiographical Two States, a love story of two persons from different Indian cultures. While Alia plays a south Indian girl, Arjun Kapoor essays the role of a north Indian guy.
