Sadly, white 'leucistic' alligators and crocodiles are highly desirable when it comes to making expensive handbags. Last year, Hermes sold its diamond-encrusted white 'Himalayan Nilo Birkin' for a whopping $185,000 at an auction in Los Angeles.
