The world's longest glass bridge will be open in China this month

Almost $1 million has been invested into the construction of the bridge that commenced in March. China has several other glass bridges but CNN reports that this is the "first of its kind" in Suiyang County, Guizhou Province.
Hongyagu glass suspension bridge in Hebei Province's Hongyagu Scenic Area opened in 2017 and is 488 meters long. It was billed as the world's longest glass-bottomed suspension bridge but the new walkway that will open in August has broken the record set by the aforementioned bridge.
