The Instagram-baiting Art Tea at The Merrion Hotel, Dublin, is a must for art lovers with a sweet tooth. The meal is inspired by the 19th and 20th Century artwork adorning the walls of the five-star property. The Merrion is home to Ireland's only two-Michelin-star eatery, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud. For the past two decades, The Merrion - arguably the most luxurious hotel in the Irish capital - has been serving up its unique and playful Art Tea, a two-course decadence that sees chefs literally turn pastries into extraordinary pieces of art.

The Art Tea is served in the hotel's grand drawing rooms, alongside a harpist and a roaring turf fire. Every room exudes understated elegance mixed with comfort, including a king-sized bed, a fireplace and a range of modcons, such as a Nepresso machine.
