The study also made a very interesting observation. More than the food, it was the food habits which turned people off post-sex. The research highlighted that if potential partners chewed loudly or ate with an open mouth, it repelled people away. In fact, the habit was found to be more repulsive than other "unhealthy" habits like eating junk food or drinking too much.
This goes on to support the fact that post sex (or after enjoying an intimate moment), people were more likely to enjoy comfort foods than something healthy and thus, junk food gains more takers.
