Shreya Ghoshal is an Indian playback singer, who is most popular in Hindi film industry. She also sings for other language movies like Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, and Tamil. She has bagged several awards which includes four National Film Awards, seven Filmfare Awards South. She first sang for the film "Devdas", for which she has won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. She has also featured three times in Forbes list of the top 100 celebrities of India.
At the age of 4, she started learning music, mainly Bengali songs, from her first Guru her mother. She gave her first stage performance at their club's annual function. At the age of 6, she started getting formal training in Hindustani Classical Music.
