Shilpa Shetty b'day special: A stylish star, a mother and an inspiration
Shilpa Shetty Kundra, is an Indian film actress, businesswoman, producer, model and writer. She made her debut in bollywood with the film Baazigar in 1993. The following year she delivered another blockbuster hit 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' opposite Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Her performances in Dhadkan (2000) and Rishtey (2002) were appreciated, while her portrayal of an AIDS patient in Phir Milenge (2004) won her many accolades.
She started her modelling career at the age of 16, when she passed her 10th standard examinations in 1991.
She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She is also interested in sports and during her school days she was a captain of volleyball team. She is also a black belt in karate.
