Rice dish: Recipe of Tamarind Rice

Ingredients
1 cup rice (cooked), 2 tbsp ghee, 1 sprig curry leaves, 3 whole red chillies, pinch of asafoetida, 1 tsp mustard seed, 1tbsp chana dal, 1 tbsp urad dal,(dhuli), 2 tsp salt, 40 gm tamarind-made into pulp, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1tsp sugar, half cup peanuts (fried)
How to make
Make tamarind pulp by adding 1 cup of water and keep it aside. Now, in a pan, heat ghee. Add curry leaves, whole red chillies, asafoetida, mustard, chana dal and urad dal. Saute till slightly coloured. Add rice and saute till well mixed. Now add tamarind pulp to the rice. Add salt, chilli powder and sugar. Bring it to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Tamarind rice is ready. Garnish with peanuts and serve.
