Kesar Badam milk:-
Ingredients
20-30 almonds, 1 litre milk, 6 tsp sugar, 1 tsp green cardamom powder, pinch of saffron (kesar), 5 rose petals, 1 table spoon of cream, 1 tsp thinly sliced almonds (for garnishing), few saffron strands (for garnishing)
How to make
Soak almonds in water for overnight. Soak saffron in hot water for 10 minutes. Make a paste of almonds in grinder by adding 2-3 tbsp of milk. Grind it until forms smooth mixture. Add crea, to paste and mix well. Take a heavy bottom pan and bring milk to boil. Keep flame low and boil for 10-12 minutes. Make sure you stir it to avoid burning and sticking at the bottom. Add almond mixture to the milk stirring continuously. Now add saffron water, sugar and rose essence. Stir it well. Cook till milk gets little thick. Serve hot and garnish with sliced almonds and saffron strand.
