Sev Tamatar is a famous vegetable of Gujarat. The sev which is made of deep-fried gram flour paste like snacks or what we say the Bhujia. The dish is the mixture of many spices and lots of Tomatoes. Check the recipe of the tasty and delicious Sev Tamatar.

Ingredients
Tomatoes 2 big, Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp, Red Chili Powdwer 1/4 tsp, Mustard Seeds 1/2 tsp, Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp, Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp, Salt to taste, Chopped Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp, Chopped Green Chili 2, Sev 1/2 cup, Sugar 1 pinch, Oil 1 tbsp.

How to make

Cut tomatoes into big pieces. Make 4-5 pieces of one tomato. Heat oil in a pan. Add ustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder and red Chilli powder. Cook it for 1 minute on low flames.

Add chopped tomato and green Chillies. Add salt. Cook till the tomato paste starts seprating from the oil. Add a pich of sugar now.

Now add 1 cup of water and cook for 10 minutes in the covered pan. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Add sev just before serving. Sev Tamatar sabzi is ready. Serve it hot with chapati.


Cooking Time: 25 mins.

It can be served to 2 peoples.
