Ingredients

400 gms condensed milk,  250 gms of desiccated coconut, pinch of green cardamom/elaichi powder, 5 betel leaves/paan ka patta, pinch of edible green colour, 1 cup desiccated coconut (for rolling), 2 tbsp gulkand, 1 tsp ghee (for greasing), 2 tbsp chopped dry fruits (cashew, walnut, pistachios, almonds)

How to make

Take a pan and cook gulkand and dry fruits in it on slow flame till they bind together. Switch off the gas and keep it aside to cool. Roll the paan leaves together and finely chop them. Now, in heavy bottom pan, pour condensed milk. Add desiccated coconut to it and mix well. Cook condensed milk and coconut mixture in heavy bottom pan on medium flame. Stir the mixture continuously. Add chopped paan leaves, pinch of green food color and cardamom powder to it. Within 2 to 3 minutes, the mixture will start leaving the sides and come together as dough. Switch off the gas and allow it cool for few minutes.

Now, grease your palms with ghee. Take a small portion of the mixture. Make a depression with your thumb on it and place a bit of gulkand and dry fruits mixture inside and roll between your hands into balls like ladoos. Make all the ladoos in same manner. Now roll ladoos in desiccated coconut and keep them aside. Paan Ladoos are ready to enjoy. Serve them.
