Ingredients

2 bowls chilke wali moong daal/split green gram, 1 bowl chana daal/bengal gram, 1/2 bowl urad daal/split black grams, 1-2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander seeds (slightly crushed), salt as per taste, 1 tsp red chilli, few leaves of coriander (chopped), 1 tsp ginger paste, 4 green chillies (finely chopped)

How to make

First, wash split green gram, bengal gram and split black grams in water. Then soak lentils for at least 4 to 5 hours and strain the water. Now put soaked lentils in mixer then grind with very little water. Keep it slightly coarse. Add cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds, salt, ginger paste, green chillies, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix all the spices well and batter is ready. In deep pan, heat oil. Now, pour one tsp of batter with spoon into the hot oil. Fry on medium flame till dark in colour and crisp. Dal ke mangode are ready. Serve hot with coriander chutney and sweet tamarind chutney and enjoy.
