1. "If you're dressing up, allow one accessory to make the statement," she says. "Don't overcrowd your look with necklaces, a flashy shoe and bedazzled bag... you'll just end up looking like a Christmas tree."

2. "Every time I've ever looked terrible, it's because I wasn't comfortable with what I was wearing. On the flip side, I've pulled off bizarre-looking clothes only because I felt at ease wearing them."
