However, if you have shared the QR code with an unknown person or wrongly shared it in a group full of strangers, you can quickly revoke the action and reset the code. This can be done multiple times and there is no limit over resetting the code.

Users can scan the code using the Scan Code tab. This could be an easier alternative to saving numbers manually first to add someone to WhatsApp. In order to get the feature, the Android users are required to update their WhatsApp to the 2.20.171 version. The users who have an older version of the app will also get the feature but the ones with the latest version will get the feature quickly.
