Nimrat Kaur, the girl who grabbed attention with her super hit film, The Lunchbox. She has become an international celebrity after the huge success of 'The Lunchbox' and 'Peddlers'. Both the movies were screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress within a short period of time as made her mark in both Hollywood and Bollywood. Just after getting recognized in The Lunchbox, the actress grabbed a meaty role in Hollywood serial Homeland in which she plays the role of an ISI agent.
Nimrat Kaur was born on 13 March 1982 in Pilani, Rajasthan and Grown up in Pilani, Bathinda, Patiala and Noida. Her father worked with the Indian Army, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Kashmir. She has a younger sister, Rubine, who is a psychologist based out of Bangalore.
