While the apes and birds have been rendered well enough, the designers have floundered with human rendering. The faces and physical movements look dated, like the physics engines of older videogames. Other shortcuts have been used too. When a helicopter lands in the jungle, the tree leaves and grass aren't moved by the rotor-wash, as if made of stone.
Tarzan is also immune to the climate; he is shown sprinting up and skating down a snow-covered mountain, whilst barefoot. All in all, it's a slipshod rendering of a classic.
