Moto Z3 Play to launch with dual rear cameras, extra key, fingerprint scanner
The new renders also show the presence of fingerprint sensor. But, compared to the Moto Z2 Play, the fingerprint sensor on the Z3 Play is expected to be on the sides - on the power key. According to previous rumours, the power button on the Z3 Play will have a larger surface area to accommodate for this fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor on the Z2 Play was on top of the home button in the front panel, right below the screen. The renders also show the presence of a brand new button on the left side of the phone. As for yet, there is no confirmation on what the additional button could be for, but rumours are it could be a dedicated key for Google Assistant/Moto Actions. It could also be a mute switch.
