Margaret Island
Margaret Island  is a 2.5 km  long island, 500 metres wide,  in the middle of the Danube in central Buda. The island is mostly covered by landscape parks, and is a popular recreational area.

It has a sports stadium, numerous tennis courts, an outdoor swimming complex, an open air theatre, Japanese and Rose gardens, early medieval ruins, two spa hotels and a beer garden.
