Tamatar ki Chutney...
Lip smacking tomatoes beautifully spiced with mustard seeds,
ginger, curry leaves and a pinch of sugar. It is served with idli, dosa
and vada.
Ingredients
10 tomatoes chopped, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp ginger
chopped, 2 garlic cloves crushed, 1 tsp oil, 10-15 curry leaves, 1/2 tsp red
chilli powder, 1 tsp vinegar, 1-2 tsp sugar, salt to taste, pepper to taste
How to make
Add oil in a pan. Now add mustard seeds, curry leaves,
ginger and garlic to the oil.
Add tomatoes after the ingredients are cooked. Let the
tomatoes cook for 5 minutes.
Add sugar, salt, vinegar, red chilli powder and pepper to
the tomatoes.
Cook till the tomatoes are soft and squishy.
