Maruti Suzuki has become India's largest utility vehicle maker in May
By consistent selling of over 10,000 Vitara Brezza units a month, Maruti Suzuki reached to new heights. Despite being in the market for close to a year and a half, Maruti Suzuki is sitting on over 50,000 bookings. On the contrary, four new sub-4 metre SUVs - KUV 100, TUV 300, Nuvo Sport and Bolero Plus - have not helped Mahindra & Mahindra drive enough incremental volumes, resulting in declining market share.
