Man explains why he raped goat
A family was angry when a man was freed from court after raping their goat. Thabang Mosiu of South Africa, received a two year suspended sentence for five years, after he pleaded guilty to raping the goat.
The owners of the goat were very disappointed by the court decision to free Mosiu on a suspended sentence after he admitted to bestiality.
They hoped that the court would at least order him to pay them for the goat, which can no longer be used for human consumption.
Mosiu explained that he committed the crime after a man told him that having sex with a goat was a way to get rid of bad luck.
He told the court that he was earning R800 a month, and wanted a better life, so the man's advice led him to rape the animal.
Mosiu was left humiliated after the rape incident. After the court ruling, he went home, got his belongings and left the community.
