Red Sauce Pasta:-
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups cooked fusilli, 2 cups tomatoes finely chopped), 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 bay leaves, 6 to 8 blackpepper corns, 1/2 cup onion (finely chopped), 1 tsp finely garlic (finely chopped), 1/2 cup capsicum (finely chopped), salt to taste, 3 tbsp tomato puree, 1/2 cup tomato ketchup, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 and 1/2 tsp dry chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 cup fresh cream
For Garnish
1 tbsp fresh cream, 1 tbsp grated processed cheese
How to make
In a broad non-stick pan, heat olive oil. Now add bayleaves and peppercorns. Fry them for 30 seconds on medium flame. Add chopped onions and chopped garlic and fry on medium flame for 2 minutes. Now fry capsicum on medium flame for another 1-2 minutes. Add tomatoes and salt. Mix well and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally. Now take out bayleaves from pan and discard them. Add tomato puree, tomato ketchup, oregano, chilli flakes and sugar. Mix all ingredients well. Cook on medium flame for 1 minute. Keep stirring continuously and add cream. Mix well and cook on medium flame for another 2 minutes. Add fusilli and toss gently. Cook on medium flame for 2 more minutes. Your Red pasta is ready. Garnish it with fresh cream and cheese and serve immediately with garlic bread.
