Make restaurant style Cream of Tomato Soup at home easily

Ingredients
4 cups ripe tomatoes (chopped), 1 bayleaf/tejpatta, 3 whole black peppercorns/kalimirch, 1 and 1/2 tbsp butter,1 tbsp plain flour/maida, 1/4 cup tomato puree, 2 tsp sugar, salt to taste, 1 and 1/2 tbsp fresh cream
For The Garnish
2 tsp fresh cream
For Serving
1/4 cup deep-fried bread croutons
How to make
Take a deep non-stick pan and add 1 cup of water and chopped tomatoes in it. Now add bayleaf and peppercorns. Mix all the ingredients well and cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Turn off the gas and remove the bayleaf and discard it. Allow the mixture to cool completely. Then blend the mixture with hand blender till it gets smooth and strain it using a strainer. Now heat butter in a deep non-stick pan. Add plain flour and cook on medium flame for 60 seconds. Now add prepared tomato mixture, 1 cup of water, tomato puree and mix well. Cook on medium flame for 1 minute. Add sugar, salt, pepper and fresh cream. Stir all ingredients and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes. Your restaurant style Cream of Tomato Soup is ready to eat. Garnish it with fresh cream and serve hot with bread croutons.
