Ingredients
250 grams fried vermicelli, 1/4 cup
sugar, 2 tbsp water, pinch of saffron, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, few almonds slices
(for garnishing), few pistachio slices (for garnishing)
How to make
Take water in a pot. Heat it over
medium flame. Add sugar and bring it to a boiling point. Now check for 1 thread consistency. Switch off gas, add kesar and cardamom
powder. Mix it well. Now cool this syrup by place this hot sugar syrup over a
large bowl of ice water. Now take fried vermicelli in a plate. Once the sugar
syrup has cooled, pour it over the fried vermicelli. Serve sutarfeni garnished
with almonds and pistachio.
