Paneer Butter Masala:-
Ingredients
500 gms paneer/cottage cheese (cut into cubes), 5 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp oil, 2 bay leaves, 2 cloves, 2 cinnamon one-inch, 2 dried red chillies (broken), 2 tbsp coriander seeds (crushed), 1 medium onion (sliced), 2 tsp ginger paste, 2 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 5 medium tomatoes (chopped), salt to taste, 1/2 tsp kasoori methi (crushed), 2 tbsp fresh cream
How to make
In a kadai, heat three tbsp butter with one tsp oil. Now add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, red chillies and 1/4 tsp crushed coriander seeds. Fry all for half a minute. Add onion slices and fry for half minute. Then add ginger paste and garlic paste. Cook them for another thirty seconds. Now add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Cook on high heat till oil leaves the masala. Take a non-stick pan and heat the remaining butter. Cook the pureed mixture for two minutes in new pan. Add paneer pieces and salt. Add half cup of water. Cover it and cook on low heat for five minutes. Then sprinkle kasoori methi and mix in lightly. Remove from heat and add cream. Garnished Paneer butter masala with remaining crushed coriander seeds and serve hot.
