Kannada actress Pooja Gandhi will play role of Veerappan's widow Muthulakshmi
Pooja Gandhi's team listened to my story. She has agreed to bring it out as it is on the big screen. I have faith in her. She is the perfect actress to represent my story in a movie. I will be actively involved in the making of the movie," Mutthulakshmi said. After marrying Veerappan, Mutthulakshmi had stayed with him in the forests.The police had booked cases against her for some of the crimes committed by Veerappan. Following a long legal battle, she had been acquitted in most of the cases. Mutthulakshmi, now a mother of two, lives in Salem, Tamil Nadu. One of the top film stars of south India, Pooja Gandhi has acted in more than 30 movies.
