Kannada actress Pooja Gandhi will play role of Veerappan's widow Muthulakshmi
Popular Kannada actress Pooja Gandhi, who has also acted in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies, will reprise the role of Veerappan's widow as Mutthulakshmi in the movie titled by the same name. The movie will be shot from later this month. Apparently, Mutthulakshmi had penned her life story and was looking for a suitable film-maker to narrate it on the big screen. Last year, a trilingual movie based on Veerappan's life "Attahasa" was released, but Mutthulakshmi objected to it, contending that the movie did not stick to facts. She had even dragged the film-maker to court.
