The queen of Tamil politics did enjoy the love and affection of lakhs of fans and supporters. She was born in Mysore on 24th February 1948 to a Tamil Iyengar family. She was the best of the best Chief Ministers a state can ever have. When she was jailed in the disproportionate assets case, some of her supporters had committed suicide. Such was her fan following.
