Janhvi Kapoor`s Gunjan Saxena to release directly on Netflix
Janhvi Kapoor's much-awaited film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, will be released on a digital platform. Karan Johar, who has produced the film, took to social media to reveal that the film will be released on Netflix. Karan Johar shared a new poster of the film announcing that it will be released on Netflix. The filmmaker, however, didn't reveal the date of its release.
Janhvi Kapoor shared a video on Instagram announcing the news. She wrote, "Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl. This isn't just a film for me- it's a journey that's taught me to believe in myself. A journey I can't wait to share with you all. About a girl who set out to do something simple, follow her dreams. #GunjanSaxena - #TheKargilGirl coming soon on Netflix. #GunjanSaxenaOnNetflix (sic)."
Varun Dhawan also took to Twitter to show his support for the film. Sharing the poster, he wrote, "Born to break boundaries, witness her true story!! Gunjan Saxena - #TheKargilGirl, coming soon on Netflix! #GunjanSaxenaOnNetflix (sic)."
