HP has introduced a new range of notebooks in India. The new range of laptops bring 4G LTE connectivity to the affordable segment that was available on premium laptops such as Elite Dragonfly and Spectre X360, over and above up to 8GB of RAM and Intel Core i5 processor. There are two laptops in the range - HP 14s and Pavilion X360 14 - that starts for Rs 44,999. HP says its new range is optimised to stay connected all the time, especially at the locations with low fiXed-line broadband penetration in India.
For consumers looking for a device that supports cellular connectivity and is optimal for light to medium productivity, HP 14s could be a good option. The HP 14s "delivers power in an ultra-mobile design" and weighs 1.53kg. It has a 14-inch FHD micro-edge display with a screen-to-body ratio of 78 per cent. It comes in two configurations - 10th-gen Intel Core i3 and Core i5 paired with 256GB of storage. It has a built-in Intel XMM 7360 4G LTE modem integrated to offer cellular connectivity. The HP 14s has a 720p HD front camera, in addition to connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SD card reader, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, and an HDMI port.
As for the HP Pavilion X360 14, the laptop is powered by a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics. The laptop also features 4G connectivity using the same Intel modem. The laptop also has native access to Amazon AleXa with voice wake-on features. There is a 14-inch FHD display with micro-edge bezels, the company said, along with a screen-to-body ratio of 82.47 per cent. The HP Pavilion X360 14 comes with Bang & Olufsen Audio on dual speakers with HP Audio Boost technology.
