Tandoori roti at home
(without tandoor):-
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cup maida/plain flour,
1/4 tsp baking powder, salt to taste
How to make
Take maida, salt
and baking powder in bowl and mix them well. Knead soft dough with water. The dough
should be soft, not thick. Cover dough with plastic film and keep it in fridge
for 60 minutes to make dough really smooth. Take out dough and sprinkle plain
dough over it and knead again. Make round balls of dough and roll into circle.
Turn on the flame and heat the cooking wire rack and put roti on it. Cook it
well from both sides. Put it on low
flames to make it crispy. Apply butter on it. Serve it hot.
