4) Not having a separate blending brush Most people apply their eyeshadow and then blend it with the same brush they used to apply it. This is a mistake! When you blend your eyeshadow with the same brush -- it created the mud instead of beautiful gradience. So, my tips is -- first apply your eyeshadow colour onto your eyelid and then, blend it with a clean blending brush (it doesn't need to be a Mac blending brush or any other expensive one, it just should be a clean brush), this way you will achieve amazing and beautiful eyeshadow "smoke".
