Cool your body. Get into a shady area or air conditioning and cool off with wet towels. It may help to place ice packs, or cold water bottles, in your armpits, behind your knees, groin and on your neck to help cool your body quickly. Get in front of a fan if possible. Loosen your clothing. Clothes that don't allow you to sweat increases your risk of heat-related fatigue.
