Hilarious reasons to watch "BROAD CITY"

Heart It
It's Super RelatableIt's super relatable for anyone familiar with a phase of post-collegiate disenchantment when compromise is necessary for basic survival. Abbi and Ilana are poor, and their struggle to make it in New York drives a lot of the show. This isn't the un-reality of Girls or Sex and the City. Where Hanna can afford a two-bedroom apartment without an income and complains about her enviable job at GQ, Abbi lives in a cookie-cutter box with a roommate whose boyfriend spends his days eating her food, clogging her toilet, and throwing away her all-important Bed Bath & Beyond coupons. Where Carrie Bradshaw can afford a closet full of designer clothes just by writing a weekly newspaper column, Ilana has no shame about collecting a garbage bag full of day-old bagels for sustenance.
