Saurabh Kumar, MD, EESL that the tender for electric vehicles will be in a phased manner and told ET, " We will aggregate demand for the vehicles and roll out large bids. Later on, the state transportation commissions can look at procuring electric buses in large numbers." He further informed that Mahindra & Mahindra is already into e-cars and two other players are willing to enter the market with capacity to scale up.
