Galaxy Note 20 details revealed: Release date, rumours, specifications
CEO of Display Chain Consultants, Ross Young revealed details about Galaxy Note 20. The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus may be the first to feature Qualcomm's second-gen 3D Sonic Max fingerprint reader. The large ultrasonic fingerprint sensor was introduced back in December and can read two fingerprints at the same time.
The sensor's predecessor didn't work so well on the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 phones. However, the new sensor is 17 times larger than the last one and promises faster unlocking speeds. With its ability to recognize two fingerprints at the same time, the sensor could also help enhance security on the phones.
Tthe Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus will have the same selfie camera position as the Note 10 series. This means that the punch hole on the display will remain in the center of the screen, as was also the case on the Galaxy S20 series. Thanks to Young's previous leaks, we can expect a 6.42-inch display on the Galaxy Note 20 and a 6.87-inch screen on the Note 20 Plus.
