Finland`s New Year`s resolutions is to give away free money to the unemployed for two years, reports Business Insider. Starting January 1, 2017 and lasting until 2019, the country will be experimenting the most popular theory of eliminating poverty. It will serve as a trial version of basic income when the federal social security institution Kela will be distributing an estimate of 590 dollar (Rs. 40,168 approx) each month to 2,000 jobless Finns. They will receive the income regardless of if they find employment or not over the next 2 years.
