Not only did she start her own jewellery line with her sister Nisha Aggarwal called Marsala but Kajal is also a part of the social commerce venture called Buddies Nation. She also owns her own jewellery franchise Marsala with her sister Nisha Agarwal.
In 2010, she has got the CineMAA Award for Best Actress for her movie 'Brindavanam'. She also earned herself a nomination for Filmfare Award for the Best Telugu Actress.
